In this presentation, we begin with some research into investor psychology and common investor weaknesses. Some of the research is very revealing about who and what we are, not only as investors but also as a species in general. This prompts us to revisit the controversy over active versus passive investing and investigating some of the All Stars of Investing who have done better than the indexes. Dear Students, there are people who have beaten the market over statistically significant periods of time. And I have always thought, if you want to do something well, study the people who have gone before you and were successful in their endeavors. In other words, if you are going to steal, steal from the best! Lastly, we steal from Peter Lynch (yet again!) and take a look at some famous market myths and stupid market sayings. Have fun!
