Canvas Studio: Adding Video Content

Adding media content into Studio couldn't be easier. There are 3 options available to bring content into your Studio library:

  • Import external links from YouTube or Vimeo
  • Upload media files
  • Record videos

Below you'll learn how to import external links as well as upload media files. In the next page will cover "recording media options."

Importing YouTube/Vimeo Links
  1. Navigate to Studio and select the "Create" icon from the My Library tab (or from the Canvas Studio menu in the RCE) and choose "Add Media."

  2. In the pop up window that follows, paste in the YouTube or Vimeo URL code into the text box and select the "Add Video" button to import you video.

  3. Your video will immediately appear in your Studio library. You can tell weather it's a YouTube or Vimeo video by the icons at the bottom left corner of the videos.

  4. If you need to delete your media, you can do so from the kebab menu options by select "delete media."

Upload Media
  1. Navigate to Studio and select the "Create" icon from the My Library tab (or from the Canvas Studio menu in the RCE) and choose "Add Media."

  2. Select the "Browse Files" button from the pop up window.

  3. Locate the video or audio file you would like to import and select "open."

  4. You should see an "Uploading" progress percentage on the top left of your Library. Once the video is uploaded successfully, you will be able to preview it from you Studio Library.

  5. If you need to delete your media, you can do so from the kebob menu by selecting "Delete Media."
